Co-Curricular

Main body content

The co-curricular programme is an integral part of life at Chelsea Independent College

We recognise the importance of a holistic educational experience and encourage our students to take part in the wide range of sports, activities and societies on offer - whether that means trying out something new or developing an existing interest.

Facing new challenges in an environment where risk-taking is nurtured and supported, students learn to work in teams and take initiative. This produces a resilient, versatile and adaptable individuals who are competent all-rounders and ready to embrace the 21st century. Our priority is to make full use of our central London location and the world-class facilities on our doorstep. Regular visits to museums, art galleries, theatres and academic institutions take place.

Opportunities for everyone

Our clubs and societies are open to all. The options on offer are constantly growing and changing to ensure that they stay relevant to the interests of the current year’s student body. We run a wide range of clubs and societies where our students can explore different interests, meet new people and truly feel a part of the CIC community. The Student Council plays a key role in communicating new ideas, and getting new activities up and running.
