Easter is a crucial period for students who are preparing for summer exams. It is at this time, with the examinations in sight, that they can benefit most from extra support. Easter revision efficiency can have a dramatic impact on students’ grades. With wide ranging A-level and GCSE reforms in place, our expert teachers can guide you through the new expectations and give you confidence to need to master your exams.
The 2018 Easter Revision Programme for Chelsea Independent College will be hosted at 59 Queen’s Gate, Kensington, London SW7 5JP. Easter Revision provides an intensive programme that helps students significantly improve their subject knowledge. The systematic approach to revision that is central to the course gives students the confidence and the motivation they need in order to achieve their full academic potential in their forthcoming exams.
Our Easter Revision courses are designed to improve students’ performance by focusing on five key aspects of exam preparation:
- Consolidating knowledge and understanding
- Planning a systematic approach to revision
- Developing and sustaining confidence
- Employing effective examination technique
- Devising a personal revision programme for the run-up to the exams
All students receive an outline of the specification they are studying and a full set of examination papers with accompanying model answers. Throughout the course students are set examination questions. These questions are subsequently marked with tutor commentary on how improvements can be made. Each course culminates in an examination session.
A level students sitting exams in 2018 can revise one subject per week intensively. This will include 40 hours of tuition in the hours of 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday. GCSE students who are taking exams in 2018, may study one subject for 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, morning or afternoon) or two subjects per week for a total of 40 hours of tuition.
