Chelsea Independent College International Foundation Year

Giving Students a Globally Portable Qualification

The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) is an internationally recognised programme that prepares students for entry to university.

Why Study the IFY at Chelsea Independent College?

Our London sixth form college specialises in preparing students for leading universities through excellent teaching in small classes.

Founded by 11 leading UK universities in 1987, NCUK is a unique programme designed to help international students achieve places at prestigious UK universities. It provides access to a choice of nearly 4,000 degree courses.

Upon successful completion of the NCUK programme, students are guaranteed at least two university degree course offers and one place on a suitable degree programme at one of these universities.

The course includes a specialist English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module designed to give students the language abilities needed for an undergraduate degree in the UK. EAP grades may be used for university entrance and visa purposes with no need to take an IELTS examination.
