Medicine Pathway

The Medicine Pathway offers flexible progression opportunities to students who wish to pursue a career in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biochemistry and other medical-related professions. 

This uniquely designed course provides students with a range of science subjects and the option of taking Anatomy & Physiology alongside, giving students some phenomenal progression opportunities to universities worldwide. 

St. George’s University, Grenada not only guarantees a placement*, but also offers a 5-year Doctor of Medicine programme with a guaranteed 2-year Clinical Training Placement in the USA, UK or a combination of both. Queen Mary University London: Malta Campus, a member of the Russell Group, welcomes students who wish to complete a 5-year Medicine MBSS on the warm Maltese islands in Europe. The University of Central Lancashire also delivers a 5-year Medicine MBBS during which students experience patient contact and clinical placements in the NHS from Year 1. 


This course provides a strong foundation for tackling the complex and diverse topics included in the Biology module, spanning cellular structure through to organ function.


This module will give students a solid understanding of the many different areas of chemistry, allowing them access to a wide range of study options beyond college. Topics include molecular formulas, atomic structure and mass, and transition elements.

Anatomy & Physiology

The intricate systems of the human body are an integral part of the Anatomy & Physiology module, which was designed in conjunction with St. George’s University. Students will broaden their knowledge in areas including the skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, respiratory system and more.    

English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

Students develop academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills together with the skills required to interpret academic texts and write academic assignments. 

Science Maths

The purpose of this module is to progress students’ development and understanding of mathematics from intermediate to advanced, encompassing several of the key topics that form the syllabus of the A-Level programme in similar depth and detail.
