A-Level Results Success

Many congratulations to our 2018 leavers who have achieved some excellent A-Level results.

30% of grades were A*/A, higher than the national average of 26%. 10% of students received exclusively A*/A grades, with almost half of students attaining at least one A*/A result.

Particular congratulations must go to the following students who achieved exclusively A* grades:

  • Elena Brachimi who has accepted a place at the University of Glasgow to study Medicine
  • Xiaofeng Lin who secured his place at UCL to study Computer Science
  • Aleksandra Spolnik who will be studying Filmmaking

Well done also to Enxhi Sharxhi who achieved A*A*A and has accepted a place to study Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.

CIC’s philosophy of supporting students’ individual interests is evident in the breadth of degree courses that CIC’s 2018 leavers will be pursuing. Courses range from Mechanical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry to Economics, Law, Psychology and the creative arts.

Destinations include some of the UK’s top universities such as UCL, Exeter, Nottingham, Loughborough, UAL and Manchester.

As a non-selective school, where emphasis is placed on the importance of value-added and personal progress, these really are some outstanding achievements and we are very proud of all the hard work put in by both students and teachers alike.

Congratulations to all and we wish our leavers the very best of luck for the future.
