Boarders Amazed by The Lion King Musical

Last month, our borders had the opportunity to see one of the most successful stage shows of all time. The Lion King, a multi-award winning musical, is definitely the highlight of London’s West End and has been running at the Lyceum Theatre for almost 20 years. Taking place in a vast African savannah, the legendary story about Mufasa, Simba and Scar left the crowds in awe, including our students.

“Seeing The Lion King live was amazing! Everything from the set design to the actors’ performances was absolutely immaculate. My favourite part of it all has got to be the costumes - the way the mechanics of the animals worked to fit their actors was really cool. In all, The Lion King was fantastic!”

-          Aisha, GSCE student
