School Prom 2019

Report by Dante Ferrante, Student Council Member

The night everyone at CIC was looking forward to, the school prom, took place on Friday 14thJune at the Stoll Foundation in Chelsea. The dress code was strict - dress to impress - as the theme of this years’ prom was ‘Night at the Oscars’. The girls wore stunning gowns and dresses; the boys wore cool and sleek suits. Upon entry, students walked down the red carpet, leaving CIC teachers star struck and in awe. Music was provided by the up-and-coming DJ ATO, who kept the students’ blood pumping throughout the night. At one point, all fifty attendees strut their stuff on the dance floor, dancing to tracks like ‘Old Town Road’ and ‘Take It Back Now Y’all. The night closed with a myriad of pizzas that were enjoyed by all. On behalf of the school council, I would like to thank all who attended and to the teachers and staff members who aided us in managing the event. In particular, I would like to extend a warm thank you to Luis who was a great help in organising the event and managing school council.
